Gamma Master, the Geiger Counter in a Watch

This stylish watch with a built in Geiger counter has taken radiation protection to a personal level. When the audio is turned on, the Gamma Master emits a beep every time ionizing radiation is detected by the Geiger counter.

The Gamma Master radiation detecting watch can function as a nuclear radiation survey meter. In this mode, the Gamma Master displays the current level of gamma radiation and emits an alarm when the level of nuclear radiation exceeds a threshold, which you, the user, programs into the watch.

The Gamma Master can also function as a direct reading radiation dosimeter. In this mode, the Gamma Master displays the total amount of  gamma radiation that has been detected since the last time the dosimeter was reset. Again, an alarm can be programmed to sound when a preset level of total dose is exceeded.

Each year, thousands of radioactive sources are lost or stolen. The only way of identifying the material as radioactive is with an instrument, such as the Gamma Master.
